BC Marches

The campaign and inauguration of President Trump has both caused and brought forth a great deal of outrage, hate, and division in our country.  However, the Women’s March on Washington aims to mend some of the divides that our country is currently facing with a march on Washington (on Trump’s first day in office) that will prove that “We stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us.” This march is for everyone who is hurting, everyone who is scared, and everyone who wants to bring people closer together in such dark times to light the way to a better future. The Washington march  is not the only Women’s March happening– there are 673 marches happening worldwide in solidarity with an expected number of over 2 million marchers.

Many Berkeley Carroll School students and teachers will be attending some of these marches. Here are their reasons of why they will be attending.
